Can you transfer the gamerscore from just a xbox account into a Xbox live account?

Ok, so I beat loads of games before I got Live, and I got a high gamer score. But now that I have live, I only have like a 300 gamerscore. Is it possible to transfer the gamerscore from my original Xbox 360 account? (It does not have live it is just a regular one.

1. sign in as the non live account and then join xbox live, you may need to change the game name but aside from that you get all the gamerscore points and everything, even if it is a silver membership.
