How do I recover my xbox live account to my original xbox from my 360?

While I'm at home over spring break I want to play some live with my brother on our original xbox. I have an account on my 360 (back at college) but to my knowledge it does not have a credit card associated with it (which seems to be necessary for recovery on an original xbox). Ideas?

2. yea sorry to say..is that you'll need that credit card. Reason is that the xbox original doesn't accept MS points..so if you plan on buying anything from them; this is why it needs the credit card.
